Kendall Anderson, CFA Judges the Finals of the Southern Classic Investment Research Challenge in Atlanta, Georgia on February 26, 2011.

Rock Hill, South Carolina, 2-29-2011.  Kendall Anderson, CFA participated as a panelist and judge of the Southern Classic Investment Research Challenge (SCIRC) in Alpharetta, Georgia on February 26, 2011.

Student analyst teams from the University of Georgia, Georgia State University, Wofford College, The Citadel, Clark Atlanta University, Coastal Carolina University, Furman University, Georgia Tech, and University of South Carolina presented a recommendation of Global Payments Inc. (NYSE:GPN), a leading provider of electronic transaction processing services for merchants, Independent Sales Organizations, financial institutions, government agencies and multi-national corporations, offering a comprehensive line of processing solutions for credit and debit cards, business to business purchasing cards, gift cards, electronic check conversion and check guarantee, verification and recovery including electronic check services, as well as terminal management. The other panelists were Russ Allen, CFA, GLOBALT Investments, Frank j. Crown, CFA, Invesco Global Strategies, Andrew W. Jung, CFA. Montag & Caldwell Investment Counsel, Rex P. Macey, CFA, Wilmington Trust, David McElroy, Ridgeworth Investments, Carol Miller, CFA, Retired (Wellington Management Company), Chuck Osborne, CFA, Iron Capital Advisors, Aki Pampush, CFA, SunTrust Bank, Michael P. The team from the University of Georgia was selected as the winner of the SCIRC.  They will head to Omaha, Nebraska to compete for champion of the Americas. If they win there, then will compete the following day in the Global finals.
