Kendall Anderson, CFA attends "The Current Economic Crisis: What Are the Causes and Consequences?" economic discussion, hosted by Winthrop University
Rock Hill, South Carolina, 11-19-08. Kendall Anderson, CFA attended a discussion on the current economic crisis, lead by a panel of the College of Business Administration faculty of Winthrop University yesterday, November 18, 2008. The panel leading the discussion consisted of Professor of Accounting Clarence Coleman, Ph.D., Professor of Economics Lou Pontuosco, Ph.D. Augustin Mbemba Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Finance Brooke Stanley Ph.D., and Professor of Economics and Director of the Center for Economic Education Gary Stone Ph.D.
The discussion was open to all members of the Winthrop Community including faculty, staff, and students. "It is really great to have such a prominent local locus of influence such as Winthrop University is, host something like this," Mr. Anderson said. He continued, "Especially having it there for the Winthrop students, who are our country's soon to be leaders, and spark their interest in this current economic environment which is history in the making."
