And who is the "I" in this sentence? Well if you are our clients, and have been able to focus on the same litany both Kendall and I have often preached for the past 3-30 years, you may mistakenly, before reading the article, assume "I" is either Kendall or myself. However, the "I" in this article is none other than Warren Buffett.
It is somewhat nice to be able to turn to the statements of this market leader, and then smirk at all those skeptic non-believers, and with an air of under-dramatic nonchalance say, "I told you so." But I will take this timely backup and happily do so.
This is a great and reassuring article for all of you strong and conservative investors out there. It not only reinforces the fact that market timing is impossible, coming from such a looked towards market leader, but it also reinforces America, and the fact that American companies have been, and will continue to be the strong backbone of resilience and growth the capital markets both lie and rest on, and turn to in times of strife.
